Scholarship to be Presented to a Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine Graduate

Friday evening, 23 June, 2017, Dr. Jeffrey Ahlin, who practices in Gloucester, MA will be presenting an academic award to the graduate students at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine. The award is a cash scholarship for the student to continue post-graduate training in maxillofacial orthopedics and orthodontics in the university of their choice.

The award comes from the American Orthodontic Society Foundation. The Foundation also provides complimentary orthodontics services world-wide for patients who have difficulty obtaining quality orthodontic care.

Dr. Ahlin has practiced family dentistry and orthodontics in Gloucester for 45 years. His recent novel “Overrun: The Battle for Firebase 14” details some of his experiences as a naval dental officer in Vietnam in 1969.
